The best Christmas gifts to give to your car enthusiast this holiday season

Do you know someone who loves all things cars and are unsure of what to get them for Christmas? If the answer is yes, then you have come to the right place. CVM has a few suggestions on some Christmas gifts that they will love. Here are our favourite Christmas gifts for car enthusiasts:

Driving experience

Everyone knows what their dream car is, the one that is set as your computer background or the screensaver on your phone. The harsh reality is that a lot of people cannot afford their dream car. However, you can certainly drive some of them for well under one hundred pounds. This is the perfect gift to give to your motor enthusiast as there are so many companies that tailor to all kinds of vehicle driving experiences. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin…You name it, they probably have it.

Maybe a bit too expensive? Our next suggestion might be a great throwback for them and a nostalgic present that they will love.

I remember my first Scalextric set as a young boy and I never got bored of it. No matter how old you are, you are sure to enjoy taking control of your dream car on the track. With Christmas coming up fast, you can get some really good discounts and save a lot. Check out Argos for their latest deals. This is targeted more for the younger car enthusiast but I am sure even the older generation would love it.

Don’t think they will enjoy this? Not to worry. Next up is something that will be unique and different every year.

There are a lot of popular motor events in 2018 that your enthusiast may enjoy. Here are just a couple of suggestions of what you could give them to enjoy next year.

London Motor Show 2018 17-20 May 2018

With over 200 cars being displayed, talks and showcases throughout the event, test drives, simulation and even celebrities. This will go down a treat for your motor enthusiast friend or family member. It covers everything to do with the motor industry, including the historic and iconic vehicles from the past. You will learn so much about the new technology that will be in future vehicles to come as well as prototypes you’ve only dreamt of. In my opinion, a non-car enthusiast would even enjoy this experience.

Goodwood Festival of Speed 2018 12-15 July 2018

I’m sure a lot of you know what the Goodwood Festival of speed is but if you don’t, here is a little teaser about it.

The Festival of Speed is motorsport’s ultimate summer garden party, an intoxicating celebration of the world’s most glamorous sport. Nowhere else will you get so close to the cars and bikes as they blast up the Hillclimb track; nowhere else will you enjoy such unrestricted access to the machines and the drivers who made them famous.” Visit the official Goodwood Festival website here.

Next year’s Goodwood festival of speed is a special event because it is the 25th year – Silver Jubilee anniversary. There will be even more special events for 2018, including the Duke of Richmond selecting his favourite 25 moments from the first 25 events.

Are the events too long and tiring for your motor enthusiast? Maybe our next suggestion will be the perfect Christmas gift for car enthusiasts.
