Am I eligible for car finance?

At iLease our car offers are available on personal contract hire finance so you will need to apply for car finance with us to benefit from our great selection of vehicles.

Who can apply for car finance?

You must be at least 18 years old to apply for car finance and there is no upper age limit.

I have poor credit, am I eligible for car finance?

Your credit rating contains information about your credit history and a relevant score. Different finance companies lend to different people and the credit rating criteria varies. You are able to apply for finance with us, but if your application is declined by our first finance company, we will offer you an alternative finance company to apply to. We will also request other information to make the application on your behalf. We will never try an alternative finance company without your permission.

Do I need to be working to be eligible for car finance?

You may be eligible for car finance if you are not working but as you may need to show proof of annual income.

What car finance do iLease offer?

iLease offer Personal Contract Hire (personal leasing) as the finance type for all our car offers.

How much can I afford?

Before you even apply for car finance, we would suggest that you need to assess your personal finances and look at all your current outgoings. Remember when you apply for car finance you will also need to consider other monthly costs like insurance, fuel and maintenance costs. Once you have decided how much you can afford you can use our budget search to find what cars are available to you.

Is there anything I can do to improve my chances of being accepted for car finance?

Always ensure all your personal details are correct and that you honestly fill in your monthly outgoings. If you haven’t already done so, it is also advisable to have your name on the electoral roll.
